Comparison of the Interpretations of Brain Computed Tomography of Emergency Medicine Specialists and Neurosurgeons

Aim: We aimed to examine the similarity in brain computed tomography (CT) reports of emergency medicine and neurosurgery specialists. Material Methods: Patients who applied department underwent cranial CT traumatic non-traumatic conditions were analyzed retrospectively. The neurosurgeon specialists reviewed. radiologist's report was set as gold standard. All examinations performed independently radiologist by physicians with at least 5 years experience. Results: Emergency found be highly compatible detecting pathologies reports. There significant diagnosis bone defects maxillofacial trauma reporting neurosurgeons. Conclusion: It observed that successful neurosurgeons interpretation traumas. Since their knowledge experience are insufficient, they should receive support from radiology residency training.
